How to Use: Unfold and place your Bio PetActive training pad on the floor with the plastic side down and the tissue side up. Always keep the pad in the area that is available to your pet, but away from his bed and food. Place your pet on the pad so he can smell the pad’s special scent. If he doesn’t relieve himself immediately, take him back several times until he is successful. If your dog relieves itself elsewhere, bring him back to the pad immediately. This will reinforce the pad is the place to soil. When he relieves himself on the pad reward him with a treat or enthusiastic praise. Rewarding him will let him know he is doing what you want him to. Replace pad with a new pad as needed. Once your dog is relieving himself on regular basis on the pad, begin moving the pad closer to the door and eventually outdoors. This will complete the training process. Consistency, praise and patience will help you and your puppy.
