ICF Otodine Ear Cleaning Solution 100ml
Otodine is for cleaning bacterial otitis externa in dogs and cats.
- It can be used as a companion for bacterial otitids with gram-positive germs (Staphylococcus and Streptococcus) and Gram-negative pathogens (Escherichia, Pseudomonas and Proteus), yeast-related otitis and chronic and recurrent otitis cases
- The pH of the ear is set to 8 - optimal for the subsequent application of topical antibiotics that would be inactivated at lower pH values (e.g. fluoroquinolones, aminoglycosides).
- Ingredients propylene glycol chlorhexidine digluconate 0.15% adjusted to pH 8 Tris-EDTA water
- Fill the solution into the ear canal and the auricle. To do this, hold the ear lobes with your free hand. Massage the base of the ear from the root to the end of the auricle for at least one minute to loosen and rinse up. Carefully clean the outer part of the ear canal with a cotton ball or gauze from the mixture of detergent and earwax and dry (please do not use cotton swabs). Repeat until the cotton / gauze remains clean.
Adjuvant for chronic bacterial otitis treatment, reducing antibiotic reliance. Provides excellent cleaning power by removing excess earwax.
