HARRISON'S LIFETIME FINE ADULT BIRD FOOD
Harrison's Lifetime Fine Adult Bird Food is designed for the year-round maintenance of healthy, non-breeding, and non-moulting birds, including lories, cockatiels, lovebirds, quakers, doves, pigeons, and other small to medium-sized birds. It can be fed to adult birds after they have completed a 6-month period on a High Potency formula. This food is also suitable for birds with certain dietary sensitivities.
Storage:
- Harrisonās Bird Foods contain no artificial preservatives.
- Once opened, use within 8 weeks.
- To maintain freshness, store in the fridge or freezer.
Feeding Directions:
- Feed fresh food daily and do not "top off" uneaten food.
- Feed as distinct meals to reduce waste.
- Birds can eat all they want, but refer to the approximate feeding guidelines below:
- Budgie: 1.5 - 3g (1-2 tsp) of ALF + Ā½ - 1 tsp additional foods
- Cockatiel / Lovebird: 2 - 5g (1.5 - 3 tsp) of ALF + Ā½ - 1 tsp additional foods
- Quaker: 3 - 7g (2 - 4 tsp) of ALF + 1 - 1.5 tsp additional foods
- Lory / Conure: 5 - 9g (3 - 5 tsp) of ALF + 1 - 2 tsp additional foods
- Dove / Pigeon: 5 - 15g (0.5 - 1.5 tbsp) of ALF + 1 - 2 tsp additional foods
- Mynah: 20 - 100g (2 - 10 tbsp) of ALF + 1 - 6 tsp additional foods
- For Lories: Soak the formula in 2 tbsp of water and Ā½ tsp of corn syrup.
Feeding of Additional Items:
- Harrison's should make up 75-80% of your bird's diet.
- 15-20% should consist of good quality, ideally organic vegetables and fruits, including:
- Dark yellow or green items like sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, squash, broccoli, parsley, spinach, mango, or papaya.
- 5% of the diet should include high-quality omega-3-rich foods like chia, hemp, flax seeds, or certain nuts.
- Avoid supplementing with additional vitamins or bird supplements.
Dietary Recommendations for Birds with Iron-Storage Disease:
- Avoid citrus fruits, tomatoes, kiwi, strawberries, grapes, currants, raisins, liver, red meat, egg yolk, and dark green vegetables like spinach.

- Certified organic ingredients include corn, hull-less barley, millet, toasted soybeans, peas, lentils, peanuts, sunflower kernels, oat groats, alfalfa, brown rice, chia, and more.
