MICROFLOX 2.5% SOLUGEL 60ML

Contains micronized enrofloxacin, which allows for improved digestive absorption, bioavailability, faster tissue penetration, and improved lipid solubility. It acts against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Mycoplasma spp., and some rickettsiae. It inhibits cell division and bacterial growth, prevents tissue colonization, and promotes phagocytosis.

It is recommended for otitis externa, septicemia, enterobacteriaceae, prevention and treatment of osteomyelitis, skin infections, urogenital, respiratory, prostate, and wound infections. It has a post-antibiotic effect on Staphylococcus intermedius, Enterobacter spp., Psuedomonas aeuriginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, Streptococcus aureus, and Rickettsia rickettsi.

DOSAGE:

Swine (piglets): 5 mg/kg of body weight, 1 mL/5 kg of body weight.

Beef cattle: 2.5 mg/kg of body weight, 1 mL/10 kg of body weight, every 24 hours for 3 to 5 days.

Canines and felines: 5 mg/kg of body weight, 1 mL/5 kg of body weight, every 24 hours for 3-5 days.

Mustelids (ferrets) and small mammals (rabbits, hedgehogs, chinchillas, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and rats) 5-10 mg/kg of body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/2.5-5 kg of body weight, every 12 hours for 14 days.

Ornamental birds (passerines, psittacines, and pigeons) 5-10 mg/kg of body weight, equivalent to 1 ml/2.5-5 kg of body weight, every 8 hours for 3 to 5 days.
